Rosemary Beach House

This house had good bones and too many finishes. We stripped it back to plaster, limestone, and oak, then rebuilt the living, dining, and kitchen as one continuous room that opens to the porch.

Evenings are the point here — gas lanterns, a deep porch, a table that seats twelve. The remodel was as much about how the house is used after five as how it photographs at noon.
